If you and your dog are craving a bit of good conversation, stop by Rancho Penasquitos Linear Dog Park.
Fur parents who have been there say it’s one of the best places in San Diego to make new canine (and dog lover) friends!
Frequent visitors to the park are kind, and the best part is that they let you pet their dogs.
There are separate spaces for big and small dogs on-site, so your fur baby can play with canines his size.
You’ll also find picnic tables, plenty of trees, and park benches on-site.
However, you have to bring your supply of poop bags. You can dispose of used ones in the waste bins around the park.
You also need to bring your supply of water and your dog’s bowl.
The park is almost all dirt, so be sure to bring paw wipes that you can use on your dog’s paws before you head home.
Rancho Penasquitos Linear Dog Park is in a safe neighborhood surrounded by local businesses.
