Joggers and bikers love stopping by Quincy Shores Reservation because of its 2.3-mile beach.
This Quincy, Massachusetts park is also home to Caddy Park. You’ll find it on the beach’s southern end. It features more than 15 acres of fields and marsh.
There’s also a play area, a lookout tower, and picnic tables. You can also find Moswetuset Hummock on-site.
It’s a National Historic Site, which used to be a summer campsite for the Massachusett tribe. Today, it’s a mix of woodland trails and marshland.
Some of the other things you can do in the park include canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Don’t miss a chance to hike along the trails on-site as well.
Keep your dog on a leash if you decide to take him with you to Quincy Shores Reservation.
You also need to clean up after your dog. Pick up poop promptly and throw away used ones in the designated waste bins around the park.
After exploring the park, you can unwind at the picnic area. Visit the park’s website for updates about local events.
