Powell Square Park has been established in 1889 and is considered Johnson City’s oldest neighborhood park.
Nevertheless, locals still love stopping by the park as it’s a great place to take a stroll or go for a walk with your dog.
Other amenities available at Powell Square Park include a multi-use playing field and a playground.
There are picnic tables on-site, too, and shelters have restrooms.
Always do your part in keeping the park clean. Pick up after your dog and throw away used poop bags in the bins you’ll find around the park.
The park has its operating hours posted on its website.
