Locals visit Poppleton Creek Park to explore rare and endangered habitats, which include sand pine scrub, scrub Flatwoods, and wetlands.
This Florida park has also become very popular with fur parents, thanks to the Poppleton Creek Dog Park. It’s a fenced-in area where big and small dogs can play off-leash.
Pet stations with poop bags and waste receptacles are provided on-site so that you can clean up after your dog. There’s also a water fountain on-site where you can refill your dog’s bowl.
Apart from Poppleton Creek Dog Park, other amenities are available at Poppleton Creek Park. There are pavilions with picnic tables, clean restrooms, and benches on-site.
Parking is also available. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset. All the lighted facilities are available until 10 P.M. You need to get special permission if you wish to use the park after 10 P.M.
Check out the park’s website for more information about late-night park usage.
