You’ll find a lot of outdoor activities to enjoy at Savannas Preserve State Park Environmental Education Center.
You can go biking, hiking, and horseback riding. There’s an equestrian trail on-site, as well as several nature trails.
The park is also excellent for fishing, paddling, and boating. There’s a well-appointed canoe kayak launch on-site.
If you want to enjoy a quiet afternoon, you can hang out at the picnic pavilion on-site.
You can also bring your dog to the park, but he has to be on a leash. You also need to bring poop bags to clean up after your pet.
There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.
Pack water and your dog’s bowl as well to prevent dog dehydration.
Parking and clean restroom facilities are available on-site.
Check out the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
