You’ll find Brooks Truitt Park in downtown Sacramento, right in the Midtown area.
This 0.91-acre California park features a beautiful community garden that includes 25 garden plots.
There are also picnic tables, seat walls, a storage shed, and a Lady Bug sculpture. You’ll also find ornamental fencing with whimsical bug artwork on-site.
Dogs are welcome at Brooks Truitt Park. There is a separate space for big dogs that’s about 0.23 acres. There’s also a small dog area that’s about 0.12 acres.
The entire park is dotted with trees, so there’s plenty of shade if you need to take a break.
