Providence Park in Milton, Georgia, is every dog lover’s dream park. It’s set in 42 acres of a wooded area dotted with beautiful tall trees.
Parts of the park also overlook Providence Lake. A fishing pier on the lake is open to the public, which endears the park even to fishing enthusiasts.
You can explore three trails at the park, including one that is paved and accessible.
Dogs are also welcome at Providence Park but must be on a leash. Just make sure you clean up after your pet. Bring poop bags and dispose of used ones in the trash cans around the park.
Pack a lot of water and your dog’s bowl, too, so your dog doesn’t get dehydrated while you’re out and about.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements and renting facilities.
