If you want to enjoy a quiet day with Fido, visit Maryvale Park in Frederick, Maryland.

Dogs on a leash are allowed to visit the park. First, however, you have to make sure you clean up after your pet.

Make sure you bring poop bags and dispose of used ones in the trash cans around the park.

Bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water as well if you plan to do a lot of walking and running.

There are also plenty of benches around the park where you can rest your feet before you head home.

Additional amenities at Maryvale Park include picnic tables, horseshoe pits, and a pavilion.

There’s also a volleyball area and a walking path on-site. You can also ride your bike around the park. Kids are also welcome to have fun at the playground.
