If you’re looking to watch ball games or have a picnic this weekend, you can stop by Jason Verdow Memorial Park.
It’s a 5.5-acre park where Cape Coral National Little League is available for kids aged 5 to 12.
It has become a popular spot for District Tournaments and is one of the oldest baseball fields in the city.
You’ll find several concession stands on-site. There’s also a picnic shelter, several picnic tables, and barbecue grill facilities on-site.
Kids are also welcome at the park. There’s a playground on-site for children ages 2 to 5. Clean restrooms are also available.
If you plan to take your dog with you, make sure he’s wearing a leash. Remember to clean up after your dog as well.
There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used poop bags.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
