The Eagle Beach State Recreation Area is a 590-acre destination where you can go to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.
Camping and having picnics are some of the activities you can do on-site. There are 16 primitive sites in the forested section of the park. You’ll also find several walk-in camping sites at the park.
There’s also a large beach and river bars where you can go beach combing and fishing.
If you plan to bring your dog, you have to make sure he’s wearing a leash. You also need to clean up after your dog. Bring poop bags and dispose of used ones in the waste bins around the park.
Make sure you keep a close watch on your dog. Do not allow Fido to chase birds and other wildlife.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
