Carter Park is one of the best parks in Fort Lauderdale to go to if you want to play ball games with your friends.

The park has lighted athletic fields, a basketball court, a boxing gym, a racquetball court, tennis courts, and a track and field complex.

There’s also a swimming pool and a recreation center on-site. You’ll also find several open areas where you can hang out.

Dogs on a leash are welcome at the park, but you have to make sure you clean up after your pet. Bring poop bags and dispose of used ones in the designated waste bins around the park.

Before heading home, you can relax at the pavilion and picnic tables on-site. Clean restrooms are also available on-site.
