If you don’t have any plans this weekend yet, don’t miss a chance to stop by Bowers Park.

You’ll find it along James I Harrison Jr. Parkway. This Tuscaloosa park has a disc golf course, lighted athletic fields, outdoor tennis courts, an indoor walking track, and fitness equipment.

You can also rent the picnic tables and grill on-site. Just visit the park’s website for more information.

If you’re planning to bring your dog to the park, make sure he’s wearing a leash. Pack poop bags as well, so you can clean up after your dog.

Don’t forget to dispose of used bags in the trash cans around the park–don’t leave used bags lying around.

Bowers Park is also home to the Jerry Belk Activity Center, Bowers Park Ball Field Complex, and the Bowers Park Pool.
