Locals who have been to the lake at Antonio Maceo Park say it’s an excellent place to jetski and enjoy a quiet afternoon.

The play area has recently been renovated, so you’re welcome to bring your children. There are also shelters on-site for anyone who wants to relax in the shade.

If you’re planning to bring your dog, make sure he’s wearing a leash. You can stroll with him along the walking trails or sit and relax by the waterfront.

Make sure you clean up after your dog no matter which part of the park you visit. There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of poop bags. You also need to bring plenty of water and your dog’s bowl, especially if you plan to do a lot of walking.

You can also ride your bike to the park and leave them at the secured bike racks on-site.
