Winkelman Dog Park is a 2-acre off-leash dog park perfect for sports-loving fur parents. It’s located in the northeast corner of the park, offering easy access to the rest of the other park amenities available.
The dog park also has separate spaces for big and small dogs. There’s a water fountain on-site, but you need to bring bottled water if you’re visiting during winter.
Bring poop bags and throw used ones in designated waste receptacles. If you want to visit the rest of the park with your fur baby, you need to keep him on a leash.
Apart from the dog park, Winkelman Park also has a youth athletic field and a paved walking trail.
Upcoming park improvements will include a garden, a sheltered picnic area, and play areas.
You can visit the park’s website for announcements and more details about their upcoming plans for this 19-acre Beaverton destination.
