You’ll find Valmont Dog Park inside Valmont City Park. It has two separate spaces for big and small dogs.
The large dog area is about 3 acres, while the small dog area is approximately .25 acres.
There’s a water spigot on-site, so your dog’s bowl is all you need to bring.
However, during winter, the water supply is turned off to prevent pipes from freezing.
Make sure you watch your pet closely at all times. It’s also your responsibility to clean up after your pet.
For example, always throw away used poop bags in designated waste bins.
Apart from Valmont Dog Park, you’ll also find a 42-acre bike park, an asphalt pump park, and an 18-hole disc golf course at Valmont City Park.
There’s a multi-use field and path on-site as well. Don’t miss a chance to explore the park’s natural lands.
If you’re bringing your kids with you can observe native wildlife from the path and small pond.
You can also unwind at the picnic area and shelter after having fun around the park.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements.
