Some of the things you’ll love about Island Park are the river views, the shady benches, and the sand area.
Imagine taking a stroll while enjoying breathtaking views. Then, if you’re visiting the park with your kids, you can let them have fun at the playground.
There are open grassy play areas at Island Park, which are great for quiet picnics. You can also share meals at the picnic shelter. Just visit the park’s website to know how to reserve one for your family.
You can visit the park with your fur baby, but you have to keep him on a leash. You also need to clean up after him and make sure you throw away used poop bags in waste bins.
This 14-acre park also has a boat landing, a bike path, restrooms, and drinking water. The park is open from 6 A.M. to 10 P.M. Parking is available on-site.
