Frequent Copicut Woods visitors say what they love most about this Fall River park is the variety of vernal pools and natural communities on-site.
Don’t miss a chance to explore the abandoned farm settlement on-site. This 516-acre park is also home to Miller Lane, a mile-long 150-year-old scenic cart path.
One of the best things to do on-site is to have a secluded picnic in the timber frame shed on-site.
You can also explore some of the most beautiful trails at the park, like the Soggy Bottom Trails and the Meadhowhawk.
Dogs are also welcome at Frequent Copicut Woods, but they must be on a leash.
You also have to keep a close watch on your fur baby and dispose of used poop bags in designated waste bins.
Keep your dog hydrated, too. Bring a water bottle and your dog’s bowl.
Visiting the park is free. It’s open from sunrise to sunset.
Check out the park’s website for more information about local events.
