If you’re looking for a place where you can hang out with your friends this weekend, stop by Riverland Park.
You’ll find it along 27th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. This 10.55-acre park has lighted athletic fields. There are also ball courts on-site where you can play basketball and volleyball.
You can also jog around the park or enjoy a relaxing stroll. Meanwhile, your children can have fun at the water playground on-site.
There’s also a play area with swings, slides, and climbing structures.
Dogs are also welcome at the park, but they must be on a leash. Pack poop bags, so you can clean up after your dog.
There are trash cans around the park where you can throw away used bags.
Don’t forget to bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water to prevent dog dehydration.
The park is open from 6 A.M. to 9 P.M. You can visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
