True to its name, Riverbend Park in Bend, Oregon provides river access all year round.
It’s conveniently located along the Deschutes River, close to the Old Mill District. Its excellent location allows park-goers to visit other nearby attractions like the south canyon trails, Farewell Bend Park, McKay Park, Mirror Pond in Drake Park, and more.
The park has an open lawn and a stretch of beautiful paved and unpaved paths. You can also check out the conservation areas for local wildlife.
There’s an off-leash dog park in Riverbend Park where your dog can play and socialize. The dog park also has river access, where your dog can cool down during the summer months.
Of course, you need to make sure you clean up after your pet. Pick up poop and throw away used bags in the designated area. Keep a close watch on your fur baby, too.
The park is open from 5 A.M. to 10 P.M. Parking is available on-site. You can visit the park website for important announcements.
