There is no shortage of open space and family-friendly amenities at Pacific Community Park.
It was developed in 2008 and is part of the Greater Clark Parks District program.
Some of the on-site amenities include two basketball half courts and walking trails.
There’s also a special place for dogs at this 56-acre Vancouver, Washington park called Dakota Memorial Dog Park.
It’s on the north side of Pacific Community Park between 164th and 172nd Avenue.
This off-leash dog park is fully fenced, and it features a beautiful gravel trail that goes through an open lawn and a forested area.
You’ll also find a rustic log agility course on-site, drinking fountains, and park benches.
If you need to clean up after your dog before heading home, you can take him to the dog rinse-off area behind the park restroom.
Just make sure you keep your fur baby on a leash while you’re cleaning him.
Bring poop bags, and make sure you throw away used ones in designated waste bins.
Apart from the dog park, you’ll also find picnic tables, an extreme sports area, and a picnic shelter on-site.
Visit the park’s website to learn more about reserving the picnic shelter.
Parking spaces and clean restrooms are also available.
