Overlook Park is home to one of Maryland’s seven off-leash dog parks.
It’s located along Governors Gate Lane, less than 20 minutes from local attractions like the National Aquarium.
There’s plenty to do at this spacious Maryland Park. You can play baseball on-site or hang out with friends at the multi-purpose field.
There’s also a picnic area, a rebound, and a tennis court on-site.
You can stroll the paved and natural trails on-site if you want something more relaxing.
When you visit the dog park at Overlook Park, make sure you bring poop bags so you can clean up after your pet.
There are designated waste bins around the Park where you can dispose of used poop bags.
Bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water, especially if you plan to stay at the Park for a while.
Clean restrooms open seasonally are also available on-site.
The park is also less than 20 minutes away from must-see Maryland attractions like the historic Fort McHenry National Monument. While you’re in the area, don’t miss a chance to check out Walter’s Art Museum, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and the National Aquarium.
