Oakhurst Dog Park is a fully fenced, off-leash dog park with plenty of space where Fido can play and socialize.

There’s a large open field, and one-third of the park is a wooded area, so there’s plenty to explore.

Poop bags are available, so you can easily clean after your pet. There are also waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.

Water, bowls, and tennis balls are also available. You can use the water hose on-site to rinse your dog’s paws before you head home.

The Oakhurst Dog Park is one of the three dog parks in Decatur. The Atlanta Audobon Society named it a wildlife sanctuary as it’s home to birdhouses, bat houses, and a 1300 square feet pollinator garden.
