This historic Alabama park is also home to the W.A. Gayle Planetarium.

There are also walking trails that circle the park, as well as playgrounds where you can let your children have fun and make new friends.

If you’re planning to bring your dog to the park, make sure he’s wearing a leash.

Pack poop bags, so you can clean up after your dog. There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.

Bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water as well.
