North Gasline Trail is one of the attractions at Russian Jack Springs Park. The park has a spacious off-leash area where Fido can run around and play.

You have to bring your own supply of poop bags, and you have to make sure you only dispose of used ones in the waste bins around the park.

Pack plenty of water and your dog’s bowl as well.

If you want to walk with your dog, you can check out the off-leash trails at University Lake Park, Far North Bicentennial Park, and South Anchorage Sports Park.

Since many visitors come to the park and trails, you have to make sure you keep a close watch on your dog so he doesn’t get lost.
