You’ll find Newark Street Dog Park between Idaho and 39th Streets.
It has separate spaces for big and small dogs, with separate entrances.
The park surface is crushed granite, which is environment-friendly and good for your fur baby’s paws.
You can help keep the surface in good shape by looking after your dog and ensuring he doesn’t dig any part of the dog park.
There’s also a water fountain for dogs, so your fur baby’s bowl is all you need to bring. There are stainless bowls on-site if you forget to bring your dog’s.
Newark Street Dog Park also has a steady supply of tennis balls.
If you visit during the warmer months, you can let your dog swim in the small pools on-site.
Visit the Newark Street Dog Park website for updates about local events.
