MacArthur Park is home to the MacArthur Unleashed Dog Park, which opened in March 2013.
It’s an off-leash area with two acres of space where canines can climb piles of rocks, run around the open area, and play with other canines.
The entire dog park is securely enclosed in double-gate entrances and a five-foot-tall chain link fence.
There’s also a separate space for small dogs as well as pet waste disposal stations and a water supply.
The park is open from 6 A.M. to 10 P.M. You’ll find the dog park in the southeast corner of MacArthur Park, just a stone’s throw away from Bowen Law School.
