The Howe Ave Park Off Leash Dog Park is the first dog park in the Greater Sacramento area. A smaller-sized park has since been added to make more space for more canines.
You can help keep this off-leash dog park clean by bringing poop bags, promptly picking up after your pet, and disposing of used bags in designated waste bins.
Bring your dog’s bowl and plenty of water as well.
Howe Ave Park Off Leash Dog Park is only one of the amenities at Howe Park.
It’s also home to the Richard T Conzelmann Community Center. There are also playgrounds, softball diamonds, sand volleyball courts, tennis courts, and soccer fields.
There are also picnic tables and barbecue facilities on-site. You’ll also find an open play area, a creek, a pond, and a mile-long walking path.
Off-street parking and clean restrooms are also available on-site. Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
