The Golden Gate Park Dog Training Area is one of the best spots in San Francisco to take your dog running.

After its major renovation, it became known as a premium dog play area. Now it has a beautiful paw-friendly play surface and natural play equipment.

There are separate areas for big and small dogs, with a gate in between in case you need to go from one area to another.

Your dog will also love the eucalyptus trunks and climbable boulders that serve as agility equipment.

There’s also a pet drinking fountain on-site where you can refill your dog’s bowl.

Dog waste bag holders and wildlife-proof trash bins are also available.

Golden Gate Park Dog Training Area also has picnic tables and benches where fur parents can sit and relax.
