There’s been a lot of changes around Flaherty Dog Park to include more amenities that will make things more fun and convenient for you and Fido.

For one, the park entrance and fences have been renovated. There are now separate entrance and exit gates.

Water fountains for humans and pets are also available. You’ll also find a jug/bowl filler where you can refill your dog’s bowl.

You can also bring your own supply of poop bags in case the park runs out. You can dispose of used ones in waste bins around the park.

There are plenty of shade trees at Flaherty Dog Park where you can rest before heading home.

The dog park is open from dawn to dusk and is closed for maintenance on weekdays from 7:30 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.

• Always keep a sharp eye on your pooch.
• Pick up after your dogs, repair holes, and control barking.
