Eberwein Park was named after the Eberwein family, who used the land as a farm and their residence.
The city made sure they preserve the beautiful history, character, and charm of this 18-acre park. In fact, you would still be able to see a large red barn in the park, which has been preserved.
On-site amenities include a trail, a community garden, a pond, and a native prairie garden. You can also play shuffleboard or have a picnic on-site.
Eberwein Park is also home to a members-only off-leash dog park. The 2-acre securely fenced dog park features separate spaces for big and small dogs.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements about park amenities and more information about the dog park membership fees.
