Dos Escuelas Park is aptly named as it’s located near two schools, namely Neil C. Twitchel and John C. Vanderburg Elementary Schools.
One of the busiest parts of this Henderson destination is the off-leash dog park. It has plenty of space for your dog to run around and play.
You can explore the rest of the park with your dog, but you have to keep him on a leash. There’s a ball field, a basketball court, and a few tennis courts.
Dos Escuelas Park also has picnic shelters complete with tables and barbecue facilities. If you’re visiting the park with kids, you can let them hang out at the playground.
Restrooms are also available on-site, and you can reserve picnic tables through the park’s website.
