Dog Swim and Bark Park at Snyder Park is one of Florida’s many off-leash dog parks where your dog can go swimming. Your fur baby might not want to leave once he gets in the beautiful blue water.
Dog parents who have been to this Fort Lauderdale dog park say it’s like a small sanctuary excellent for long walks and games of fetch. Just make sure you help keep the park in tip-top shape by cleaning up after your pet.
Bring poop bags and dispose of used ones in waste bins around the park. Pack your dog’s bowl and plenty of water, so Fido doesn’t get dehydrated.
Dog Swim and Bark Park at Snyder Park also has a “dry area” where dogs can play and socialize if you don’t want them to get in the pond.
Don’t miss a chance to explore the rest of Snyder Park. There’s a butterfly garden and a nature trail on-site. The park also has a basketball court, a bike trail, horseshoe pits, a volleyball court, and a nature trail.
Picnic tables, grills, and a pavilion are also available. There are also clean restrooms on-site.
The park is open from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. from March to October and 7 A.M. to 6 P.M. from November to February. Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
