Vancouver and Northwood Neighborhood locals love visiting David Douglas Park for several reasons.
One is the park’s convenient location. You’ll find it along Garrison Road near small local businesses.
This 88-acre community park is also home to the Columbia Little League and several other Vancouver Parks and Recreation sports leagues.
It’s often the venue for local gatherings, community events, and sporting events.
There are walking paths at David Douglas Park as well. You’ll also love the open lawn area and the picnic shelter where you can relax.
If you’re visiting the park with your dog, you need to keep him on a leash. However, there are also a few areas where Fido can play off-leash. Just be mindful of the signs.
You also need to make sure you clean up after your fur baby. Make it a habit to pick up poop promptly and throw away used bags in waste bins.
You can visit the park for free. It’s open from 5 A.M. to 10 P.M.
Check out the park’s website for announcements and updates.
