If you don’t have plans for the weekend yet, stop by Chelsea Waterside Park. It has a huge playground with a custom 64-foot wooden slide, several water features, and plenty of space where kids can make new friends.

You can take your dog to the Chelsea Waterside Dog Run. It has separate areas for big and small dogs. There’s also a canine-friendly water spray jet as well as mounds and boulders where Fido can have fun running and playing with other canines.

Tiered seating and benches are also available on-site. You’ll also find plenty of shade on-site, so you don’t have to worry about those hot summer days.

Stopping by the dog park also lets you enjoy breathtaking views of the beautiful Hudson River.
