Best Friend’s Dog Park, also known as Rocky Mountain Dog Park, is a spacious and beautiful recreation area for canines.
This off-leash dog park is divided into three sections: a 2.11-acre separate fenced area for small dogs and two 3-acre areas for big dogs.
Best Friend’s Dog Park is open from dawn to dusk, but the best time to come is during non-peak hours. The early mornings of Mondays through Fridays are usually very busy, and so are the late afternoons until dusk. It’s best to visit before lunch or a few hours after lunchtime.
Communal water bowls are sometimes available at the park, but you can bring your own water and dog bowl. You can also bring your own supply of poop bags in case the park runs out.
There are plenty of waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.
You’ll find the dog park along N Lee Street. Visit the park’s website for important announcements and more information about local events.
