Benny Craig Park is a simple neighborhood park that occupies 22 acres of low-lying land.
The park is in the southwestern part of the city, just a stone’s throw away from one of the principal branches of Fourche Creek.
It was initially called Gum Springs Park until it was renamed in honor of the local sportscaster, Benny Craig.
You and your fur baby will love it here because it’s an excellent place for rest and relaxation.
Locals come here to enjoy the fresh air and spend some time in nature.
Keep your dog on a leash when you visit the park. You also have to make sure you clean up after your pet.
For example, bring poop bags and throw away used ones in the proper waste bins.
Bring a bottle of water and your dog’s bowl as well.
Visit the park’s website for important updates.
