If you’re looking for a tranquil and spacious off-leash area in Orlando, Florida, stop by Avalon Dog Park.
You’ll find it at the far left end of Tanja King Park, just past the racquetball courts.
There are separate sections for big and small dogs. You’ll also find pet waste stations on-site where you can get poop bags you can use to clean up after your pet. You can dispose of used bags in the trash can outside the park entrance.
Water stations are also available. There are already metal water bowls on-site, but you can bring your dog’s bowl too.
You’ll also find fire hydrants where Fido can hang out. There are plenty of sunny spots at Avalon Dog Park, but several trees offer shade.
You can take a seat on one of the park benches before heading home. Visit the park’s website for more information about local events and important events.
