What to prepare when visiting dog parks

Before heading to a dog park with Fido, you need to prepare a few things. For one, you need to make sure you have dog park essentials like poop bags, so you can clean up after your dog.

Most dog parks in Pasadena and other parts of California provide dog parents with poop bags, but if there aren’t any, at least you have your own supply.

Not all dog parks also have a water supply or a drinking fountain for dogs, especially during winter. It’s best to pack your dog’s bowl and enough water for both of you.

Prepare your dog’s identification and vaccination tags and documents as well. Most dog parks will require these tags to be attached to your dog’s collar while in the park.

Now that you have all the essentials and you’ve done plenty of research about the dog-friendly California destinations you want to visit, you can start your adventures with Fido.
