Locals know Battle Creek Dog Park as one of the best dog parks in south Maplewood, Minnesota’s metro area.
This 35-acre off-leash dog park is securely fenced, so you’re sure your dog is safe while he’s playing. It’s home to a number of wooded trails, two small ponds, and a large gated swimming pond.
You need to bring your own supply of water as it’s not available on-site. Pack poop bags as well, so you can clean up after your dog. You can dispose of used bags in the waste bins around the park.
Battle Creek Dog Park is open daily from dawn to dusk. It’s closed twice a year to give way to a deer bow hunt. Visit the park’s website for the announcement and more information about alternative dog parks you can visit.
