More than 60 acres of space are available at Deer Lick Park, which is excellent for many recreational activities.
It’s located along Mack Road north of Fairburn Road in Douglasville, Georgia. You can play basketball, softball, tennis, disc golf, and volleyball on-site.
There are also batting cages, a bocce court, and a mini golf course on-site. Fishing and picnicking are also popular activities at the park. There’s a 3-acre fishing lake with a pier on-site.
You’ll also find an activity center, an amphitheater, athletic fields, and group shelters on-site. You can visit the park’s website for more information about reserving shelters and other park facilities.
The off-leash dog park at Deer Lick Park is located at the Family Fun Center. It’s open during regular park hours and is accessible from the park’s tennis court.
It features separate spaces for big and small dogs. There’s a water fountain on-site where you can refill your dog’s bowl.
Bring poop bags so that you can clean up after your dog. There are waste bins around the park where you can dispose of used bags.
