In the mood for a breath of fresh air? Head to the Glen Cove Waterfront Park this weekend so you can relax with your dog.
This Vallejo, California park features beautiful trail connections to the San Francisco Bay Trails.
You’ll find several mature trees on-site, and you can even enjoy breathtaking views of the Carquinez Strait during a clear day.
Dogs are also welcome at Glen Cove Waterfront Park, but you have to make sure they’re wearing a leash.
You also have to see to it that you clean up after your dog. Poop bags are available on-site, but you should still bring your supply in case the park runs out.
Don’t leave used poop bags hanging around the park. Throw them away in trash cans in the area.
Pack plenty of water and your dog’s bowl as well, especially during hot days.
Visit the park’s website for more information about local events.
