The Bark Park is Sacramento’s public off-leash dog park. You’ll find it in front of the new Sacramento County Animal Care Shelter.
This 2-acre dog park features separate areas for big and small dogs. It also has doggy drinking fountains, so make sure you bring your dog’s bowl.
You can help keep The Bark Park clean by picking up after your dog. Dispose of used poop bags in designated waste bins around the park.
All dogs must wear a county or city license before entering the park. Visit the park’s website for more information about the license.
Treats and prong collars are not allowed at the park.
