The main draw at Cactus Wren Park is the ball fields, but locals also love coming for the dog park.
The off-leash space has three separate areas—one for big dogs, one for small dogs, and another where big and small dogs can play together.
There’s also a water fountain just outside the dog park fence, so all you need to bring is your dog’s bowl. The dog park is large enough for games of fetch, and it’s great for socialization since it doesn’t get too crowded.
Other amenities at the park include multi-purpose fields and a playground. You’ll also find a skate park at Cactus Wren Park, which is open from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M.
You can also have fun at the basketball and volleyball court or hang out in the open grass area.
There are also picnic shelters with tables where you can have barbecues with friends. Check out the park’s website for details about reserving some parts of the park.
