Lakeshore Park is one of the most visited parks in Knoxville, Tennessee. It’s not surprising because the 185-acre park features a wide stretch of lush greens and plenty of great amenities.
You’ll find the park along the Tennessee River, which makes it a great destination if you want quiet strolls along the riverside.
There are beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains, too. The park also has soccer fields where youth sporting events are often held.
There are plenty of spots at Lakeshore Park that you can explore with your dog. You can check out the east and west terrace, the hilltop meadow, and the waterside meadow.
Since you will be doing a lot of walking, bring plenty of water and poop bags. You can also stop by the pavilions to rest.
You can check out the map of the park here.
