Matney Park in Castle Rock, Colorado, is very popular among parents, bikers, and joggers.
You can start your day at the paved bike path on-site, shoot some hoops at the basketball, or hang around the multi-use court.
Apart from that, you can also bring your kids to the playground for 5- to 12-year-old kids.
You can also play with your friends at the 18-hole disc golf course on-site.
Dogs on a leash are allowed at Matney Park. However, there are also off-leash areas where you can let them run around freely.
Just make sure you clean up after your pet. Dispose of used poop bags in designated waste bins around the park.
Bring plenty of water and your dog’s bowl as well.
After playing with your fur baby, you can relax at the pavilions and picnic tables.
Check out the park’s website for more information about reserving the pavilions.
Clean restrooms are also available on-site.
