You’ll find a lot of history and nature when you visit Woodward Park in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The park is best known for its garden areas, the Upper and Lower Rock Gardens, and the Tulsa Rose Garden, established in the 1940s.
This 44-acre property is breathtaking, and it’s also dog-friendly.
You and your fur baby can explore the gardens, but you have to keep him on a leash.
Don’t worry about cleaning up after your pet, as poop bags and waste receptacles are in the park.
There’s an arboretum at Woodward Park, which is excellent for taking pictures of your dog.
After exploring the park, you can unwind at the park shelter or freshen up at the restrooms.
You can also visit the Tulsa Historical Society & Museum before heading home.
