Have you ever imagined yourself visiting a historic battle site? You can do just that at Winstead Hill Park.
Winstead Hill was the vantage point where General John Bell Hood observed his Confederate troops.
This 61-acre battle site has a beautiful 3/4-mile walking trail that you can explore. There are also restrooms on-site.
Winstead Hill Park also has open spaces with wooded areas where you can go if you need a bit of quiet time and peace.
