Hiking is one of the best things you can do at Willamette Heights Park. The trail is lined with beautiful trees and lush greens, and it loops through the woods.
Apart from hiking, you can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Willamette River and the valley across Spencer Butte from Willamette Heights Park.
You need to keep your fur baby on a leash when visiting this Springfield park. There’s an open play area and a natural area where Fido can get his daily exercise.
Of course, you need to remember to clean up after your pet. Throw away used poop bags in designated waste bins. Bring bottled water for your fur baby as well.
The park is open from 6 A.M. to 10 P.M. Parking is available on-site. Visit the park’s website for important announcements.
