Wedekind Regional Park‘s central location makes it the key link to the Sparks Regional Trail Station.
This 250-acre park is just a stone’s throw away from commercial and business establishments.
Apart from that, the park is also home to a spacious and well-maintained off-leash dog park.
You’ll find poop bags in several locations around the park, so you can easily pick up after your pet.
Bring a bottle of water and your dog’s bowl to prevent dehydration.
The trails on-site are also excellent for long walks and hikes.
After having fun at the dog park, you can relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the valley at the shaded seating you’ll find at two hilltop locations.
Visit the park’s website for the complete list of the park rules.
