The off-leash area at University Lake Dog Park is a 1.1-mile soft surface loop trail.
If you decide to visit some of the other trails in the area, like the multi-use and APU trails, you need to keep your fur baby on a leash.
You also need to look after your dog closely while at the park, especially if he’s off his leash.
Make sure you clean up after your pet as well. Bring enough poop bags to last you all day and throw away used ones in the designated waste receptacles.
You’ll find University Lake Dog Park near Alaska Pacific University, which is also a popular local destination.
Dogs are welcome to swim in the 28-acre lake on-site as well. Apart from that, the area is also an excellent place for a few rounds of frisbee or fetch.
Visit the park’s website for important announcements.
